The Department of Quality of Education and Accreditations is a department of the Rector's Office of Charles University, that ensures the quality of educational activities, accreditation of degree programmes (both Czech and international), and development of quality culture. It is therefore actively involved in many activities related to this agenda, for example, in internal quality evaluation, Centralised Development Programmes, and European projects within the 4EU+ framework. It is also important to highlight its administrative and methodological support to faculties and other University bodies (e.g. the Internal Evaluation Board and the Rector's Board), as well as to national bodies (e.g. the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education or the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic).
