Types of evaluation

            Article 3 of the Code of Rules for the Evaluation of Education by Students and Graduates o

            University defines three types of evaluation used to gather feedback from students and gra

            • Evaluation by students of teaching in degree programmes,

            • Evaluation by students of the provision of education and other related ancillary activit
            • Evaluation of study by graduates.

            * Evaluation by students of teaching in degree programmes

            Student feedback on degree programmes is gathered during the final year of study (accordin

            length) in the form of a university-wide survey organised by the Charles University Rector
            Realisation of the survey is the responsibility of the Department for Strategy and Analysi
            Department for the Quality of Education and Accreditation. The outputs from these surveys 

            used in the evaluation of degree programmes, which is the responsibility of the CU Interna
            Board.

            * Evaluation by students of the provision of education and other related ancillary activit

            Student feedback on the course of education and other related activities is organised by t

            as a generally accessible survey open to all students who have participated in teaching du
            semester or academic year. Generally, the subject of the evaluation is the realisation of 
            of individual subjects and the quality of the teaching of individual teachers. In doctoral

            similar evaluation process takes place at least once every three years. The results of the
            subsequently interpreted by faculty staff, and the results of their interpretation are pub
            faculty's website.

            * Evaluation of study by graduates

            Evaluations of study by graduates are generally gathered once every five years following t
            study at the University in the form of university-wide surveys organised by the Charles Un
            Office. Realisation of the survey is again the responsibility of the Department for Strate

            and the Department for the Quality of Education and Accreditation, and the Code of Rules f
            of Education by Students further allows faculties to carry out their own student evaluatio
            of these evaluations are also used to evaluate degree programmes, as well as being discuss

            faculty.
